  • 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (optional)
  • 1 large egg (beaten for egg wash)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, pepper, and melted butter until well mixed.
  3. Roll out crescent dough into triangles and place about 2 tablespoons of filling at the wide end of each triangle. Roll tightly and seal edges.
  4. Place on a lined baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle with panko breadcrumbs if desired.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; whisk in flour then gradually add milk until thickened. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until smooth.
