  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, melted butter, and salt until combined. Press into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  2. Beat cream cheese in a large bowl until smooth. Gradually add sugar and vanilla; mix well. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Stir in cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Toss diced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  4. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust, then layer the apple mixture on top. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set around the edges. Cool at room temperature for 30 minutes before refrigerating for at least two hours.
  6. Serve chilled with extra caramel drizzle if desired.
