  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 2 green onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, coat chicken pieces with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil; let marinate for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat a wok or large pan over medium-high heat; cook marinated chicken until browned (6-8 minutes), then set aside.
  3. In the same pan, stir-fry garlic, ginger, and sliced bell peppers for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Return chicken to the pan, add all sauce ingredients, and stir until well-coated.
  5. Serve hot over warm cooked white rice, garnished with chopped green onions.
